March 6, 2010 - God Winks For The First Day of Work After having been a full time stay-at-home mom of 2 daughters for 17 years and a part-time preschool teacher for 8 of those years, I accepted a full time job as a Customer Service Representative for a large insurance company in my area. While I knew I needed a full time job to help pay for upcoming college tuition fees, my heart was very heavy leaving a place I'd come to know and love and leaving the women who had become very dear friends. I was so nervous about whether I could transition back into corporate America and whether my family would adjust. My last day was Friday, February 5th. Earlier in the week, one of my friends told me about your book, "When God Winks". I was so intrigued by what she told me that I ordered the book and finished it by Sunday morning.  |
